Manchester City have their eyes on the Werder Bremen goalkeeper Michael Zetterer as a potential replacement for Stefan Ortega, should the German of Spanish origins be promoted to replace Ederson, who is being courted by Arab clubs. As reported by Sports Bild City could take advantage of the release clause included in the Bremen goalkeeper’s contract when he renewed it last May.
A clause that City, or any other club, will only be able to exercise until mid-June. Once this date has passed, it will be necessary to negotiate with Werder Bremen for the transfer of the player’s contract.
