Damiani: “Guirassy is excellent, but it’s a long way from here to being a Milan player”

TMW Radio

During the “Piazza Affari” program on TMW Radio he intervened Oscar Damianiagent and former footballer, to comment on various issues relating to Milan: “Can Guirassy be a Milan player? He has skills, he is fast and scores goals. However, he is not a static center forward, he moves a lot. He is an excellent player, but here it’s hard to be a Milan player.”

Has something broken with the fans now?
“After the first victories, AC Milan fans will rediscover their usual enthusiasm. For the championship the stadium has always been full, it’s obvious that when results are missing there is a bit of disappointment.”

Fonseca, however, does not ignite the enthusiasm.
“Fonseca already knows Italian football, he doesn’t need too much introductory time. For me he is a good profile, I don’t see much better around. The results will tell if the choices were right.”

What objective should Milan set itself for next year?
“I think we shouldn’t set ourselves pre-established results. We will have to grow and play well, the rest will take care of itself.”

What legacy does Pioli leave to the team?
“He left the legacy of a man who won. I think it was simply time to part ways. After a while even the players feel the need to change.”
