Brazil, to prepare for the next America’s Cup, is preparing to face two friendly matches on 9 and 13 June. The FA’s accusation

Paquetà remains in Brazil’s squad
Through an official press release, the Brazilian Football Federation announced that the former Milan player will remain among the squad: “The CBF informs that it has taken note of the complaint presented by the English Football Federation (FA) against the athlete Lucas Paquetá, last Thursday 23 May 2024 Considering that the athlete had been called up for the national team’s friendlies and the Copa América, the CBF sent the letter addressed to the executive director of the English Football Association, Marc Bullingham. Considering the above, it can be stated with certainty that the athlete to this day is free to exercise his professional role. The decision was taken by the president of the CBF, Ednaldo Rodrigues, after an exchange of information with the authorities of the English Federation.”

The former Milan player has until June 3, 2024 to provide a response. Further developments are awaited to understand the measures that will eventually be adopted.
