Netherlands, Koeman reveals Depay’s future: “He will leave Atletico Madrid and find another club”

Ronald Koemancoach of the Netherlands, made some statements at a press conference, during which he also focused on Memphis Depayeffectively revealing his farewell to Atletico Madrid despite a contract in place until June 2025. The Dutch selector expressed himself as follows:

“He looks very fit. He also has to look for a club again, so maybe this will help him ahead of the European Championships. I thought he was already quite fit in March and is fine now. But I will be very careful, because after March he got injured again. At the moment he is in excellent condition. Obviously he didn’t collect enough minutes in the final stages of the season. But I think with the two friendly matches we will have on June 6 and 10 he will be ready for the first match of Euro 2024.”
