How will De Laurentiis keep Kvaratskhelia without renewing his contract?

How can you keep Khvicha Kvaratskhelia when you have a 100 million offer on the table? It is a question that Aurelio De Laurentiis could legitimately ask, with a possible capital gain of 94 million that would be made with the farewell of the Georgian. In a crazy year for all of Napoli, Kvara did reasonably well, even without emulating his exploits from a year earlier, when he had won the Scudetto with a huge gap compared to the second in the standings. An involution also dictated by discontent? Because if it is true that he arrived with a contract worth 1.8 million which might have seemed high, on the other hand all the big clubs had him in their sights twelve months ago.

Now Paris Saint Germain appears determined to bet on him. Agent Mamuka Jugeli has repeatedly knocked for money, asking for recognition for a player who has been decisive over the last two years. However, without receiving great answers: “We are in no hurry to make a decision – the words of the prosecutor – because Napoli is Khvicha’s second home. We appreciate the care and respect of Napoli and the President towards Khvicha. If there is an offer that will satisfy the club, the player, and De Laurentiis will not be against it, the decision on the future of Kvaratskhelia will only be taken taking this into account.”

The reality is that it is not possible to think that Kvaratskhelia is worth 100 million and gets “only” a thirtieth – before – what PSG would pay. In short, De Laurentiis has to choose: either I renew – so as not to have a disgruntled player – or say goodbye to him.
