There is no peace for the Cameroon Football Federation. The dispute between the president Samuel Eto’o and the Cameroonian government added a new chapter a few hours ago, when there was a violent altercation between the same former Inter and Barcelona player and Marc Brysthe Belgian coach appointed as coach by the Minister of Sport a few weeks ago.
The Federation decided to fire Brys definitively yesterday: the tug of war, at least for the moment, was won by Eto’o, who appointed Martin Ndtoungou Mpile leading the Indomitable Lions. Amid this chaos, Cameroon must play two matches in the next few days, against Cape Verde (8 June) and Angola (11 June), valid for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
