A marathon, a long swim to dive into the Nerazzurri world. The Oaktree era has officially begun in Viale della Liberazione: the representatives of the new ownership, Katherine Ralph, Alejandro Cano and Renato Meduri, arrived early in the morning at the headquarters of theInter and they only came out late in the evening. The highlight was the meeting – which lasted just over two hours – with the sports area, represented by the management (Marotta, Ausilio and Baccin present) and by Simone Inzaghi.
The one with the technician was a first approach, purely cognitive. They speak the same language, and not only in the Italian sense, which all the representatives of the US fund actually speak. There was no discussion of renewal, a topic that will be addressed next week with agent Tullio Tinti, nor of transfer plans. Other discussions on this aspect will follow, probably already in the next few hours, in which Inzaghi and the management will outline the strategies based on the guidelines set by the owners.
Next week will also be the crucial one to unlock the club’s full operations, essential for the transfer market and also to intervene on the hot topic of Lautaro’s renewal. In fact, on June 4th, the club’s shareholders’ meeting will be held in the classic location of Palazzo Parigi. The new Board of Directors and also the President will be appointed at that meeting: it is unlikely to be Marotta, more likely a representative of Oaktree itself.
