A month’s break for Victor Osimhen. The center forward of Naples he will not take part in Nigeria’s next matches for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and the Republic of Benin due to injury. Osimhen is expected to be out of action for around four weeks and in his place Finidi George, Nigeria’s coach, has called up left back Kenneth Igboke.
