An evening to remember for Empoli, who by beating Roma 2-1 guaranteed their survival in Serie A for the third year in a row. Great joy for the Tuscan people and for their coach Davide Nicola, capable of achieving another great feat on the bench, taking over in almost desperate conditions.

On his social profiles the coach published a post in which two sentences can be read. “I promise you”, the first one crossed out as if to erase it and then followed by the right statement: “I’ll prove it to you”. Once again he was able to demonstrate his qualities as a savior of the country. And Serie A.
