Aston Villa have announced their manager Unai Emery he will remain at the helm of the club for the next five years. Arriving in 2022, the Basque coach brought the English club back to Europe after 13 years and this season achieved the first Champions League qualification in the club’s history.
“We are building something special here at Aston Villa with Unai at the heart and we are delighted that he has signed a new deal with the club until 2029. – explained president Nassef Sawiris on the club website – As we approach our historic 150 th anniversary, there is a lot to look forward to with Unai at the helm.”
