Monza’s (great) season ends with a knockout: Palladino will soon decide his future

A defeat that does not affect Monza’s excellent progress. The formation of Raffaele Palladino was beaten 2-0 by Juventus in the last round of the championship but still retains twelfth place in the standings. However, a positive performance from the Brianza team who tried to put Paolo Montero’s team in difficulty but were faced first with Perin and Pinsoglio.

After a good start, in the first half the red and whites were punished first with Chiesa, who took advantage of a D’Ambrosio not flawless, and then with Alex Sandro who instead surpasses a distracted Mota Carvalho. A one-two which however does not overthrow the Lombard team which nevertheless moves forward in search of a goal which however does not arrive. In the final there was also time for a red card for a double yellow card for Zerbin and for a penalty not awarded on Mota Carvalho due to a previous handball by Pessina.

At the end of the race Raffaele Palladino commented: “It was a duty to thank everyone. I thanked the gardeners, press officers, everyone. On the part of the staff, however, they work with the lights off and give everything. We were a huge family, two really important seasons. It was a duty to thank because it was a loyal group, they made me grow as a man. In fact, I thanked them. Do you know where I’m going the day after tomorrow? I’ll go to my family to rest I will evaluate everything. Then at the beginning of June we will decide the future with the utmost serenity.”
