Too much Cremonese for Catanzaro. Giovanni Stroppa’s team won the semi-final return match at the “Zini” and qualified for the playoff final against Venzia. The Grigiorossi dominated in the first half of the match and scored with Vasquez, Buonaiuto and Coda. In the second half Sernicola put the seal on the match before Antonini Lui’s goal which set the score at 4-1.

Stroppa’s analysis
This is Giovanni Stroppa’s comment during the conference: “The way it was prepared and the eyes of the players gave me hope. It was an important performance, I’m sorry it’s not the last but there’s another mountain to climb. Catanzaro has shown what it is made of, this confirms the performance of the boys.”

Vivarini’s comment
Catanzaro coach Vincenzo Vivarini commented as follows: “Clearly we were facing a high-level opponent: beyond the starters, there was an equally strong team on the bench. We tried to start strong, to do the things we had to do to do, but we found a very high level physical impact from them. We showed effort and difficulty, we needed to slow down the pace for a moment but they pushed. We need to understand when an opponent is stronger than us.”

Below are the highlights of the challenge.
