Yesterday was an important day at the Athletic Club of Bilbao. The Basque club has in fact renewed the contract of one of its most representative players: Unai Simón Mendibil signed until June 30, 2029.
The goalkeeper from Vitoria-Gasteiz, born in 1997 and raised in Athletic’s youth sector, is the starter for the Spanish national team, with whom he has played 39 matches.
