Nahitan Nandez greets Cagliari. The Uruguayan midfielder who has a contract expiring on June 30th has decided not to renew the agreement with president Giulini’s club. This is his message: “I thought this moment, this day, would never come. But I wanted to make you this little video to say goodbye to you all, to thank you. They have been five truly beautiful years. I arrived in Cagliari as a boy and now I’m leaving as a man , a Uruguayan but also Sardinian man”.
It’s still: “This goodbye is very difficult, I really want to thank you. I leave a big piece of my life here, a piece of my heart in this wonderful city. It’s not a goodbye, it’s a goodbye. As I’ve always said, I won’t move to a team who will play against Cagliari. You can rest assured: Cagliari will remain my only team in Italy, I will support Cagliari forever.”
