Palladino, what is your assessment of the championship that is about to end?
“The whole journey from last season to this year makes me proud. The two salvations are equivalent to two championships. A great job was done, we were a big family. I wouldn’t speak of regret but mistakes were made. I repeat: I wouldn’t use the word regret but perhaps one can have been at a disadvantage many, too many times. Football puts you in front of situations that give you shivers, I believe a lot in destiny and it’s no coincidence that I started my journey here with the. Juventus and finish this season with the same team. We beat great teams, all the big ones and tomorrow we will have to try to finish on a high note.”
Have you made a decision about your future?

Were you surprised by the lack of Monza players in Spalletti’s squad list for Italy?
“I am not the coach of the national team, Luciano Spalletti is very good and knows how to do his job which is not easy. He will have made his assessments and his choices, we have done everything to bring them back into the national orbit.”
How does Juventus change with Montero’s arrival on the bench?
“I think he was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met in the world of football, it may seem paradoxical but it’s true. I have fantastic memories of Montero. Going from the Primavera to the first team is not easy but I think this sort of relationship has broken barrier regarding the leap from young players to adults. For the match against Juventus we only recovered Andrea Carboni who should come with us while the others are still out.”
What do you think of Atalanta’s success in the Europa League?
“I supported Atalanta and enjoyed the match. I am very happy that an Italian coach is back to winning in Europe.”
