Carrarese, Calabro: “The playoff matches never end. The fans are fundamental”

Playoff eve for Carrarese Antonio Calabro. Tomorrow evening at the ‘Stadio dei Marmi’ in Carrara there will be Juventus Next Gen for the return of the second national round of the Serie C promotion playoffs. Regarding the match, the Tuscan coach Antonio Calabro spoke at the press conference:

“The playoff games never end – we read on TuttoC.com – especially if you come up against a strong team like the Bianconeri, we saw this in the first leg where we suffered from the brilliance and technical and ballistic qualities of our opponents. In the first half of the first leg we suffered, also due to gastrointestinal problems suffered by some players the day before. All these difficulties added up in the face of such a strong opponent, coming out with a draw legitimized by a good part of the match. Tomorrow’s match remains open, not only because of what we saw in the first leg but also in the championship match of having an important force made up of players destined to take on important stages in two or three years.”

The Apulian coach will have to deal with two important absences: Capello will be out due to injury and Finotto will be suspended: “Whoever is called to replace them will not make their absence felt, then perhaps we will invent something. I want to think about the best solutions, I don’t rule out a change of game system to allow each player to express themselves at their best despite absences”.

Returning to the first match, the coach adds: “Juventus Next Gen faced us with different difficulties, they are dangerous both on the counterattack and in possession. Being able to bring home a positive result is a sign of strength for our team” .

Tomorrow evening too, we expect the crowd for big occasions: “On Tuesday night, when we returned, we found the fans waiting for us at the stadium. The team appreciated it very much, a significant enthusiasm is being nurtured. It must be three times stronger than in normal states as the curve is far from the pitch. Their help will be important in moments of difficulty, we must respond with an important performance.”
