During today’s appointment with L’Editoriale Marco Piccari spoke on the frequencies of TMW Radio. These are his words:
What emotions did you experience with the Europa League final?

Only Mourinho had made an Italian team win a European cup, now Gasperini has done it.”
In your opinion, does Gasperini choose to stay or go?
“The feeling is that the beautiful woman really attracts him. If there is a moment to leave as a hero it is this, the cup is on the board and the relationship with Atalanta will remain forever. This is the best time to leave, but the appetite comes with eating. There is a Super Cup to play, we can try to do something even bigger with this squad by trying to strengthen it. However, the feeling is that it can really go and it is understandable. Both decisions would have a logic.”
Does Atalanta lose more without Gasperini or Gasp lose more without Atalanta?
“I think Atalanta loses the most, their presence in Zingonia weighs a lot and finding such a strong figure mentally and temperamentally will be difficult. If Gasperini were to leave he will ask for specific guarantees, I don’t think he will be satisfied with a large salary. He will want guarantees and will leave more calm, Atalanta would risk something more. If he were to go to Napoli he will have to be very careful and make it clear what he wants to do at Napoli. In the Napoli squad there are many players suitable for Gasperini, especially if they were to give him a quality striker with Osimhen’s departure. He must be able to work peacefully”.
Milan says goodbye to Pioli, is it the right choice to part ways?
“I think so, after five years the cycle had closed and is closing with respect. This testifies to the good work done by Pioli, regardless of last season, the Scudetto matters and therefore the work was positive. I’m not a fan of Fonseca, I don’t think he’s the right man to relaunch a Rossoneri team that has had a difficult year. Pioli gives you guarantees, he is a coach who puts in hard work and commitment, I would have no problem seeing him at Napoli. He could easily sit on that bench, even if I would see him better at Bologna. With his experience, he has already made the Champions League, there are many young people and he could be an added value.”
