After the triumph in the Italian Cup and the Allegri earthquake, the Juventus starts again with a show comeback draw. In the postponement of the 37th matchday of Serie A, the Bianconeri led by Montero on the bench forced Bologna to a 3-3 draw, overturning a match that had been disastrous for the Bianconeri up to that point at the end. At the Dall’Ara the home team started off strong and went 3-0 thanks to a brace from Calafiori (2′ and 53′) and a header from Castro (11′), then Juve reacted towards the end and put the score back match on track thanks to goals from Chiesa (76′), Milik (83′) and Yildiz (84′).
Hellas Veronal Verona achieves salvation with a day to spare: in the penultimate round of Serie A, Hellas beats Salernitana 2-1, moving up to +4 on third-last Empoli. The yellow-blues close the score already in the first half thanks to goals from Suslov (22′) and Folorunsho (48′). A feat for Marco Baroni, capable of saving an upset team in the January transfer window. The Granata scored in the 90th minute with Maggiore but greeted Arechi with yet another knockout.
It will be the last day of the championship to tell which team will be relegated together with Salernitana and Sassuolo. Cagliari called themselves out with the success against Sassuolo in the 37th round of Serie A and will be able to enjoy the last match against Fiorentina in total serenity. The issue, therefore, with Hellas Verona now safe, will concern three teams: Empoli, Udinese and Frosinone, with the latter two facing each other in a thrilling direct clash at the Stirpe stadium. Empoli, on the other hand, will have Roma, already certain of 6th place in Serie A.
