Pacifici and Allegri’s outburst: “The world of football must set an example”

“All of us who live in this world of football must take on the responsibility of setting an example, in what we say and in our behaviour.” The president of the referees said it, Carlo Pacifici, interviewed by Tgr Abruzzo, on the sidelines of the inauguration of the ‘Quarto Tempo’ event – held in Lanciano until Sunday – wanted by the National Amateur League to innovate grassroots football, speaking about the behavior of the Juventus coach, Massimiliano Allegri, at the end of the Italian Cup final. “We must be fully aware – he added – that our every behavior can create a reaction”, the words reported by Sportmediaset.

The official announcement of Massimiliano Allegri’s dismissal has arrived. The coach leaves as one of the most successful Juventus players of all time. And this, despite the bad ending with which the marriage with the black and white colors ends, remains a fact. With the last Italian Cup just won, last May 15th, Allegri won a total of twelve trophies as Juventus coach: 5 championships, 2 Super Cups and 5 Italian Cups. In the tally, even if he doesn’t make any palmares, there are also two lost Champions League finals, perhaps the biggest regret of the whole adventure with Juventus.
