“We are starting to discuss the planning. The C championship is certainly different than the amateurs.” The sports director of Cavese Pasquale Logiudice he doesn’t go too far during the show ‘A Tutta C’ on TMW Radioin view of the next season when the Campania players will return to the professional fields.
There was an incredible fan following at the away match, how much did this contribution help you?
“It was certainly a great boost, also because in the Lazio group there weren’t very large numbers of fans. Already moving hundreds or a thousand people was incredible. The fans must now be respected and the foundations must be laid for at least a peaceful salvation.”
What is your picture of this year’s adventure?
“It was a learning experience, because I approached this category for the first time. I’m satisfied because winning the championship so far in advance, in a place where it hadn’t been won for eighteen years, wasn’t at all a given.”
How did the idea of purchasing Troest come about?
“Sometimes in these situations you also need luck. He already lived in Salerno and, due to a series of events, he had been at a standstill for a year. I contacted him and made him the proposal to participate in the retreat, with a financial offer already defined. After the first training session I made him go up to the office immediately to sign.”
The squad was also made up of other elements such as Foggia and Di Piazza.
“Di Piazza’s family lives in Cava, it was easy to convince him. Foggia was an element that already had experience in terms of victories in Serie D. We did a mix, because we also launched promising unders such as Boffelli and Megna for example. The Unders determine a lot in this category.”
There has also already been a meeting between the newly promoted teams and Marani.
“The president certainly has an important charisma, he is certainly a figure that I certainly don’t have to present. He made a big impression. Serie C belongs to the people, to the regions and there are sometimes even superior teams to Serie B clubs.”
