This afternoon there was a press conference at the Pontedera house to greet the coach Max Canzi who terminated the contract until 2026 which tied him to the Tuscans. Juventus Women will most likely be in the coach’s future. Below are the words of the president and director.
The president is the one to speak Simone Millozzi: “As a company we have always had maximum transparency, and, maintaining this common thread of transparency, we are announcing the consensual termination of the agreement with our coach Max Canzi. We are sorry to lose him, but the requests he received make us proud because they certify everyone’s good work. Of course, we say goodbye to a real man even before a serious professional, and this increases the disappointment, but we didn’t want to clip anyone’s wings: we heard the news during the day, and instead of a cold statement we preferred to greet him and talk in person.”
DS closes Moreno Zocchi: “I was convinced that I had at least ten days to be able to take stock of the situation with everyone, the news of Canzi’s farewell shocked me but if he is happy I am happy too. Even though I am missing an important piece of puzzle that I wanted to create. I’m already thinking about the new coach, I hope to identify him in a few days but I think it will be many. However, I know that we can still do well, I am convinced that Pontedera is an important reality for everyone and we want to start again from here.”
