He is one of the best players in Italian football of the 1910s. Andrea Barzagli became one after Wolfsburg, when his career seemed to have taken a downward phase, moving to Juventus. A few months of difficulty, then the explosion with the arrival of Antonio Conte as coach. Physically strong, fast, difficult to jump, Barzagli was an asphyxiating scorer. In his second life, the one after football, Barzagli decided to invest as a partner in “Le Casematte”, a winery located in a hamlet of the municipality of Messina. In 2019 the turnover was around 400 thousand euros. “I use my image very little to promote my company – Barzagli told in 2022 TimeStrict – I think my name could only damage it, because the combination of football and wine is not well received. In the end, however, the quality of the product matters a lot.” As well as obviously staying in the orbit of the balloon by being a commentator DAZN for Serie A. Today Andrea Barzagli turns 43.
