The aftermath of Roma-Juventus: fatigue for Dybala, Danilo at risk for the Italian Cup

The challenge between Rome And Juventus on Sunday evening left rather heavy consequences on both teams in view of this hot end to the season, with the Giallorossi having to face the second leg of the Europa League semi-final in Leverkusen and Juventus who will play the Italian Cup final on 15 May against Atalanta. Roma have to deal with the problem suffered by Paulo Dybala, while Juventus with Danilo’s muscle injury.

Nothing particularly serious for Joya, given that the Argentine did not suffer any injuries but only a little fatigue. His presence in Germany, however, remains to be evaluated, with De Rossi obviously taking until the last available minute to choose on his employment.

“Danilo, during last night’s match (5 May 2024, ed.) Roma-Juventus, reported muscle discomfort in his left thigh. The player underwent instrumental tests this morning at J|Medical which revealed a lesion low-grade myotendinosis of the biceps femoris. Danilo has already started the rehabilitation process aimed at resuming competitive activity”, reads the report from the Brazilian Juventus defender. The objective now is to try to recover it for the match at the Olimpico against Dea.
