Fallou Senestriker of the Primavera Florentinegave an interview to Wiwsport in which he spoke about his season: “I’m not very satisfied, I don’t talk much about it in fact. I think that 11 goals in 29 games is a low number, but this season hasn’t been easy either for me or for the club”.
What happened this season?
“I didn’t want to play in the Primavera this season. It’s not that I was downplaying this championship, it’s just that I wanted to move up. Maybe it was this desire that complicated my season. There were moments when the coach didn’t choose me. I had a conversation with our former general manager who recently passed away (Joe Barone, ed.) and he asked me to be patient.”
How do you remember your first call-up to the first team?
“I was very happy for the match against Salernitana. Italiano wanted to field me and in the second half he asked me to warm up, telling me that I could come on within 5 minutes. Then Kouame scored and Italiano decided for a more defensive solution than me. The next day the coach spoke to me and told me that I will have other chances to play. I hope to make my debut with the first team, but I am not obsessed with this thought.”
