Not just the coach: Milan looking for the new 9. Zirkzee on pole, news for Sesko

In addition to the casting for the new coach, Milan also has a list regarding who will be the next Rossoneri number 9. Olivier Giroud, in fact, will leave his red and black shirt after the match against Salernitana on May 26th to join Los Angeles FC and will necessarily have to be replaced: the first names on the list are those of Joshua Zirzkee of Sesko.

Zirkzee on pole
The Dutchman is certainly the favorite of the Rossoneri management and is the first big target of the Via Aldo Rossi management. The cost of the tip is approximately 60 million euros. Contacts between the parties are continuous and efforts are being made to find an economic solution. The Dutchman has exploded this season and is dragging Bologna towards qualification for a European competition, something that hasn’t happened since the 1998-1999 season (he is currently fourth, therefore in the Champions League).

The Sesko clause
Also present in the list of Milan managers is Benjamin Sesko, a center forward born in 2003 for Leipzig, who scored 16 goals in total this season. The Slovenian, who in recent years was seen as one of the most interesting offensive talents around, has different characteristics from Zirkzee (he is 195 cm tall), but is still very popular in via Aldo Rossi since he wore the Salzburg shirt (in Austria played together with Okafor). According to Sky Germany, thanks to Sesko’s good performances in the second half of the season, the release clause has now risen to €65 million.
