Napoli, now Pioli is in pole position for the bench. De Laurentiis will propose a two-year contract at lower prices

According to what the Morning, Stefano Pioli, current coach of Milan (in time and with his suitcase around the corner), will have seen the match between Udinese and Napoli with the interested eye of a coach who doesn’t intend to stay on the sofa next year anyway. In fact, the 59-year-old coach from Emilia still has one year left on his contract with the Devil, but his adventure with the Rossoneri is at the end of the credits. Conversely, his name is increasingly at the top of the list of candidates to sit on the Italian bench next year.

De Laurentiis respects him, the coach has been explored for some time and the parties always seem very close. Pioli has a salary of around 4 million euros with Milan and it is easy to imagine that he will soon negotiate the resolution complete with an incentive for an exodus which could be an assist for Napoli (who will offer a two-year contract at slightly lower prices ).

The other two illustrious names on De Laurentiis’ notebook are Gian Piero Gasperini of Atalanta who had already been very close to Napoli years ago and Vincenzo Italiano. The Fiorentina coach has already announced his farewell to Viola some time ago and has been an old obsession of DeLa since the casting for the post-Spalletti team began. The winks with Italiano were frequent, but they also experienced many ups and downs, also due to the court of other clubs (Bologna and Turin above all) which probably led him to make some reflections.
