Napoli and Juventus, watch out for Chelsea: look back to Shakhtar for Sudakov

After having already spent rivers of millions of euros for Mudryk in the 2023 winter transfer window, Chelsea are once again looking towards Shakhtar Donetsk and one of the prized pieces in the Ukrainian team. It’s about Georgiy Sudakov (in the image), 21 year old attacking midfielder who is also in the sights of some teams in our championship, above all Napoli and Juventus.

Already in January a proposal from the Neapolitans worth around 40 million euros had been rejected, but they were ready to return to office as soon as possible. The problem for Napoli, and in theory also for Juventus, is that Chelsea is also intensifying contacts to reach him. And in the Premier League there are also Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City. Shakhtar is asking for 70 million euros.

Shakhtar CEO Palkin has begun to send out signals who know a lot about auctions: “Napoli in January had the unique opportunity to buy him for 50 million plus bonuses and they let it slip away, in the summer they won’t be enough”, he said a few weeks ago, also alluding to a strong interest of Chelsea for the player. In any case, the Blues, with the problems they have with Financial Fair Play, do not appear to be a ‘concrete’ danger.
