Ferrante: “The Superga video shouldn’t have happened, hear annoying words”

On the columns of The print, Marco Ferrante, who wore the granata shirt from 1996 to 2004, with a spell of a few months in 2001 at Inter, and with 125 goals scored is Torino’s 5th all-time scorer, commented thus on the case that has monopolized the attention of the Granata support in the last few days: “The words heard in Superga on the Toro bus are annoying. What happened is serious, the demonstration of little sense of belonging… we don’t know what happened afterwards, I certainly would have gotten up and given him a hard time… it shouldn’t have happened. Point. Much less in a sacred place dedicated to the Invincibles.

You have to show respect both for those who applaud you and for those who boo you in the stadium: the fans have every right, they wanted more from the championship. It’s too easy to only receive praise.”

And the former striker commented thus, hoping for measures for the players who were guilty of this negligence: “Now the least a serious company can do is take action against those who have uttered disgusting words… It can’t end with tarallucci and wine. There were thousands of people to celebrate an anniversary which is very important for the whole of Italian football.”
