Al-Khelaifi: “Four woodwork tonight, two last week… Football is unfair”

The president of Paris Saint-Germain Nasser Al-Khelaifi he commented on the elimination from the Champions League to the microphones of ‘Canal Plus’: “We are very disappointed, sad for the result, I think we deserved better. In total we shot four times at the posts this evening (Tuesday) and twice last week, the ball didn’t want to go in, it’s difficult. We wanted to win, but congratulations to Borussia Dortmund.”

Then in another passage he added: “I really think we had the right to go to the final, we were better as a team. We are also disappointed for our fans, the London final would have been a magnificent final. But I am proud of my team, the youngest in Europe. It is the third time we reached the semi-finals in five years, obviously that’s not the goal, but that’s football. Sometimes it’s not fair.”
