What a competition in Serie B: 19 out of 20 teams still in the running for a goal

Wednesday the second verdict of the season, Parma in Serie A, out of seven that have to arrive between promotions and relegations. Everything or almost everything will therefore be decided in the last 180 minutes. But above all, all the teams, apart from Lecco, can still ask for something from the championship. Let’s see it in detail:
First place. It’s a question between Parma and Como, with the former leading by three points, or rather four taking into account the head-to-head matches. If the ranking remains the same as it is now, on Sunday at 5pm then the Emilians can celebrate first place in the championship.

Promotion. Two-way race, with Como who with a victory or in the event of the same result as their rivals, Venezia, would close the practical promotion already on Sunday. But be careful: Modena and Cosenza, the rivals of the Como area, are looking for points to try to reach the playoffs. In terms of calendar things aren’t any better for the lagoon players, who find themselves facing a desperate Feralpi and then go to La Spezia who are fighting not to be relegated.

Playoffs. From Modena upwards they are safe and can play their last cards for the playoffs, in which the placements are not defined and the last three qualifiers still to be assigned (South Tyrol, in fact, with the direct clash at the last minute can still take away the qualification for the Palermo). Five teams involved for two relegations and for the play-off.

Playouts and relegation. All in 180′ therefore also in the queue where Feralpisalò is still in the running and with Spezia who at the moment have pulled themselves out of the quicksand, leaving Bari, Ascoli and Ternana behind, written with the order of the separated ranking (today the playout it would be Bari-Ascoli). Feralpisalò is obliged to win on Sunday in Venice to avoid relegation a day early: Spezia with three points more can afford even just one victory (and a draw) but in Cosenza and at home against Venezia it won’t be easy. Difficult but it can happen: playouts, unlike playoffs, might not even take place.
