Inside his interview with Corriere della Sera for the special on the Inter Scudetto, the former president Massimo Moratti he also had his say on some of the great former coaches he has seen pass by since he has been in the world of football.
It starts, almost inevitably, from Jose Mourinho: “I’m sorry that it ended badly with Roma. But the fans showed great affection towards him, they remained attached to Mourinho, despite De Rossi’s excellent results.” The conversation then moves on Roberto Mancini: “It’s a shame that this choice took him away from great football. Mancini is very prepared, a great worker, he always gives everything.”
From one coach to another, the conclusion of his reasoning is with Luciano Spallettithe one who will try to lead Italy to the European dream: “Another coach who I respect a lot, his teams play well. We hope that Scamacca and Retegui can help him solve the goal problem”.
