Barça suicide in the derby: Real Madrid are Spanish champions for the 36th time

Real Madrid are champions of Spain for the 36th time in their history. Los Blancos celebrated a few hours after their match and thanked Girona, who secured their second Catalan derby out of two against Barcelona. Sensational thud for Xavi’s team, who on top of the damage were even overtaken by their poor cousins. Blaugrana ahead at half-time thanks to goals from Christensen and Lewandowski with Dovbyk scoring the momentary 1-1. In the second half Girona goes wild with Portu, Gutierrez and Portu again.
Apotheosis therefore also in the capital, with Carlo Ancelotti winning his second championship on the bench blancos after that of the 2021/22 season. It is his 28th career title as a coach.

Celebration also for Girona, not only for the double derby won but because qualification for the Champions League is arithmetic. And to think that until this year he had never participated in a European competition.
