Conte further away from a return to Italy. Chelsea is now thinking of the Lecce coach

Antonio Conte moves away from Napoli: the former Inter and Juventus coach has been one of the first names on the lists of the Azzurri and Milan for weeks, clubs that will respectively change their benches currently occupied by Francesco Calzona and Stefano Pioli. However, De Laurentiis decided not to sink the blow and therefore, after a series of meetings, it was decided to move on to other profiles. For the Salento coach, the possibility of a return to the Premier League could now emerge.

In the beginning, Napoli seemed to be the most convinced and best placed team in the race for the Lecce coach, while in the last few days, Milan is the team that has tested the waters with greater force, even without sinking the blow. Now, however, the threat for the Italians comes from the richest league in the world.

The owner of the Blues Tedd Boehly would have decided to relieve current manager Mauricio Pochettino from his position given the poor results of the season and the first name would be that of Antonio Conte. For him it would be a return and to convince him to choose London again the Blues management would have proposed a pharaonic plan both in terms of salary and, above all, investments in the market. Conte’s priority is to return to coaching in Italy, but Chelsea’s all-in move could somehow break the bank.
