Arteta removes Jorginho from Juventus: “We want him to stay with us, he knows it”

The Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, spoke about Jorginho’s future with the Gunners shirt, confirming the desire to reach an agreement for the renewal and thus dismissing the rumors that saw him linked to Juventus for next season. “We want Jorginho to stay with us and he is aware of our desire, of our project. I’d like to keep it. He knows it. The club fully supports him, so we hope to continue with Jorgi.”

The Italian midfielder, who had also been linked to Juventus and Napoli in recent transfer sessions, is ready to sign a new contract that the Gunners have offered him to reward his consistency, his professionalism and his attitude to work. The existing agreement however, as reported by The Athleticwill expire in June with the club having an option for another year.
