Was there a key moment of the season?
“From the first 2-3 games I noticed something different and I thought it was the right year. Parma started in the lead from the start and always had a good margin. Maybe at a certain point, with Venezia at home winning in injury time was important. If we had lost, we would have gone +4 and perhaps the environment could have been destabilized a bit, but there was the feeling of being too strong.”
What is Pecchia’s main merit?
“Having involved everyone almost equally. They were all or almost all starters and they played a lot. This was his merit, I saw all the matches, there wasn’t one player who stood out more than others… Of course , Man and Bernabè technically gave something more, but there isn’t the 20-goal striker in the squad.”
Is there already a framework for next year?
“Yes, they are all young and have good qualities. However, the squad needs to be expanded and improved. I wouldn’t upset the team too much, there are 7-8 top-quality players, then we’ll have to see. Rating for the season? 10”.
