During today’s press conference, Cesc Fabregas he spoke in view of the next league match against Udinese: “We are growing a lot in terms of intensity of play and volume of passes. All thanks also to the new young signings. Perrone has great vision of the game and will start tomorrow, while Paz has great talent, who will always be useful to the team”.
Fabregas adds: “Belotti is our centre forward, I’m sure he’ll get going. He’s very keen to score and is physically fit, Cerri is also a surprise for me, he wasn’t part of my plans, but his commitment, availability and attachment to the shirt is making me change my mind even if he’s not the right player for my playing system. Sergi Roberto and Moreno will also give us that little something extra”.
There is no good news for Varane, however, the Frenchman was expected to return this week but has not shown up (and there is talk of termination of the contract). “We are waiting for him – he concludes – also to understand the extent of the injury and when he will be available, but for the moment he will remain in Madrid to receive treatment. Let’s see what can happen with Varane, it is his decision. We need to understand how he is and how he feels, for the moment he has not yet recovered well and we need to wait a bit longer. Termination? I am not the one who can decide for them, I have to wait and respect whatever decision the individuals make”.
