Galeone on Allegri: “Here’s what I advise him if Juve sacks him. He won’t stay still”

Giovanni Galeone gave an interview to the ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’ to talk about Massimiliano Allegri and his future: “The other day I heard Max calm. And I would be calm too in his place: he is achieving the objectives that the club has given him and has a contract for 2024-25. Do I vote for the season? With the return to the Champions League increasingly close, and the Italian Cup final, a more than sufficient year: 8.5 for the first part, 4 for the second. The Nerazzurri are clearly stronger between Inter and Juve 24”.

Galeone then spoke about the possibility that Allegri could take a step back in the event of victory in the Italian Cup: “But why should he do it? He is respecting his objectives and has a contract until 2025. I don’t feel that he is fed up with Juventus. If they were to leave him at home, I would be disappointed and so would he. And it would be an injustice if he wins the Cup and qualifies for the Champions League.”

So, on the possibilities in case of divorce from Juventus: “I don’t imagine him staying for a year. When you’re a coach with Max’s track record, finding a team isn’t a problem. They continue to court him in Arabia, but he doesn’t want to go there and he does well. Maybe De Laurentiis will call him back, as has already happened in the past. My advice? Juve or England.”
