Juventus continues to not know how to win in the championship. In fact, Allegri’s team, despite a good second half and after not having conceded even a shot on target from Milan in 90 minutes, failed to get the three points, wasting two great opportunities with Danilo and Rabiot. The coach from Livorno revealed all his regret in the press conference: “It’s sad not to have won. The team, especially in the second half, had more confidence. We conceded little or nothing to Milan. We knew the difficulties of the match, we’re sorry we didn’t win but we put an extra point in the standings.”
Allegri encourages the team for the last 20 days of this season.
Massimiliano Allegri spoke about the last and very important 20 days of this season finale: “At the moment with the team and the club we have the Champions League to reach. There are 20 days left until the end of the season, we are in the final of the Italian Cup and we have to reach the Champions. We hope to win the Italian Cup, we have to be good and even a little lucky with Atalanta who are a strong team. We have worked for 7 months to get to these last 20 days and the team deserves it.” The coach from Livorno, in the press conference, asked his team to regain confidence: “There are moments when things go this way. It’s important not to have regrets. This is a team that always does the best it can. I can’t blame these guys for anything. They need to have the utmost confidence in themselves to have a good end to the season.”
Vlahovic doesn’t take the substitution well.
Yesterday was definitely not Dusan Vlahovic’s best game in black and white. After the substitution in the 62nd minute, DV9 made an angry gesture and as he left the pitch he first hit the corner flag and then the stairs next to the bench. Massimiliano Allegri, however, glossed over it in the press conference: “Nothing happened with Vlahovic. I made a change, at that moment I thought it was right and appropriate. We can’t start with 11 men and finish with 11 men. I was hopeful, because in the last few games the changes have been decisive. The important thing is that Vlahovic had a good performance.” At Juventus the lack of positive results is now fueling too much nervousness and this is often seen on the pitch too.
