Pioli: “I don’t know what role Ibra will have, but he loves Milan and will make the best decisions for the club”

With the derby over, it’s time for Milan to return to the pitch tomorrow in the very delicate match at the Allianz Stadium against Juventus (kick-off at 6pm). The day before, the Rossoneri coach held a press conference Stefano Pioli he analyzes the moment like this: “What is the point of these last matches? We want to demonstrate who we are, that we are Milan. What is needed tomorrow? We will have to fight, give our all, as if it were the last match: be concentrated, determined. We want to defend the second place”.

What was Milan really missing?
“The most obvious aspect was the exit from the Europa League and that month which distanced us from Inter. They were more solid and continuous, and we didn’t maintain that level. We like all the other teams.”

What role does Ibra have?
“I believe these are choices that the club will have to make. Regarding Ibra’s charisma and technical and human qualities, I certainly shouldn’t be his sponsor. I don’t know what role Ibra will have, but Ibra loves Milan and will make the best decisions for the Club” .

What is Ibra giving you? And is Theo Hernandez ready to be a super leader?
“Zlatan was here yesterday and the day before yesterday, he is always close to us, he gives us support to overcome the negative moment. We are together and together we try to overcome the difficult moment. Theo is a very strong player and will be important for the future of Milan”.
