Contacts continue between Milan and Jan-Carlo Simic for the contract renewal. The Serbian defender began his career in the first team in recent months, although he recently returned to the Primavera. The excellent performances when called upon have accelerated the negotiations for an extension (in addition to the current deadline of 2025, with contractual improvement) and there is optimism that an agreement will be reached.
There has been interest in the defender for some time from some Premier League clubs. In particular, Bournemouth and Fulham have asked for information over the months, but the feeling is that there could be an agreement with Milan and then, possibly, choosing the next move. Simic was the protagonist both in the Youth League semi-final won against Porto on penalties and in the final which was then lost 3-0 against Olympiakos.
