Man United, Ten Hag: “We all know what Rashford is capable of. He needs support”

Erik ten Hagcoach of Manchester Unitedspoke at the press conference and spoke about many topics on the eve of the match against Burnley, starting with that relating to Marcus Rashfordwho admitted to suffering the booing from the Red Devils fans: “I have a lot of sympathy for him obviously. Last year he had a brilliant season. I think it was the best season of his career, he scored 30 goals. This season he hasn’t given his best performances and people have been very critical. We have to support him and everyone should support him. I think he needs the support. We all need to support him and push him ‘year. We saw him last year when he was really brilliant.”

What is your opinion on the fans?
“They’re always behind us. We’re walking into Old Trafford, I felt the welcome. On Wednesday it was stronger than I’ve ever felt. Even away: always supportive, supporting the team and there’s a good atmosphere, a very good relationship between team and fans.”

Can you give us a point about the injured?
“It will be the same team as last match apart from Mount who will return to the squad. Shaw, Martinez and Martial? I think we will see them all during the season. They are all back on the pitch. Next week they will have to make the transition to preparing the team and they will be available for the last match. They are progressing well.”
