First Soule, then Brescianini: 2-0 at half-time between Frosinone and Salernitana

Lots of Frosinone and little Salernitana in the first half, which ended 2-0, of Stirpe’s salvation challenge, valid for the first advance of the thirty-fourth matchday of Serie A. If the match were to end in this way, Stefano Colantuono’s team would arithmetically be in Serie B with four matches to spare . Even a draw wouldn’t be enough for the Granata, with the second half therefore being very complicated.

Soule immediately, then Brescianini.
In the 10th minute the Ciociari took the lead with Matias Soule, who converted a penalty awarded by Fourneau for a hold by Sambia on Valeri following a cross from Zortea from the right. Frosinone’s number 18 was cold and returned to scoring after missing a penalty in Naples. In the 25th minute the home team doubled their lead: a counterattack started by Cheddira who fed Valeri on the left. Soft ball from the former Cremonese full-back for Brescianini who first stopped the ball on the run and then beat Costil with his right foot.

Salerno growing.
At the end of the half Salernitana raised their center of gravity and caused Frosinone a bit of difficulty, they also found the goal with Vignato, who however started in an offside position which was immediately detected by the linesman. A signal for the guests, who in the second half will be looking for a miracle to postpone relegation.
