L’Eintracht Frankfurt has decided to activate the purchase option and has communicated that he will redeem Hugo Ekitike from the PSGmaking him sign a contract until 2029. Below is the press release from the German club on its official website:
“Hugo Ekitiké arrived at Eintracht with a total of 13 goals in Ligue 1 for Stade Reims and Paris Saint-Germain. In the 2022/23 season, Ekitiké won the league title with PSG and the domestic Super Cup the following season. The 1.89 meter tall striker has made twelve appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt so far. The Frenchman scored his first goal in the Bundesliga last matchday. By activating the purchase option, Ekitiké receives a contract until 2029. The manager sportsman Markus Krösche: “Hugo has shown in his previous appearances what qualities he has. We are firmly convinced of his great potential and look forward to seeing him in the Eintracht shirt beyond the current season.”
